Why Didn't I Receive the SMS Code?

If you're trying to log in or register using your phone number but haven't received an SMS code, here are the most common reasons and what you can do about them.

Common Causes

1. Incorrect Phone Number

  • Double-check that you've entered your phone number correctly, including the correct country code.

2. Unsupported or Blocked Country

  • Some countries may be restricted due to security or service limitations.
  • If you're using a number from a blocked country, the message won't be delivered.

3. Network Congestion or Outage

  • Temporary issues with your mobile operator (e.g., overloaded network, maintenance, or coverage outage) may delay or prevent delivery.

4. Blocked Number

Your number may be temporarily banned from receiving messages from our provider (e.g., Twilio).
Common reasons include:

  • Your number was previously reported as spam
  • The system marked it as a suspicious number
  • You’ve had too many failed login attempts
  • Your mobile operator has blocked messages from our sender ID

In most cases, this block lasts 12 hours. After that, you can try again and the number should work normally.


What Should I Do?

  1. Double-check the number you entered
  2. Try again after 12 hours, especially if you suspect a temporary block or network issue
  3. Use a different number (if available) to test if the problem is device or network-specific
  4. If the problem persists, contact support via the in-app assistant and submit a ticket.
