App Launch Checklist
Essential guide on what to look out for when getting ready for the Public Launch of the App
- Checking Basic App Functioning: This involves looking at the app from the perspective of the app user.
- Checking the registration flow:
- This would involve checking if all the custom parameters that are intended for the app show up and work well during the registration process.
- If the project involves any consents, checking the implications of ticking vs. not ticking consents is ideal.
- Checking Homepage:
- This involves checking if all widgets and elements on the homepage appear as they are intended to.
- Checking external and social links to see if they work and that they do not lead to websites that collect cookies
- Check the visuals of your key loyalty elements (Coupons, Contests, Leaflets, etc.)
- Checking Translations:
- It is important to ensure that the app has all the translations it needs to be able to provide its users the complete context in their language.
- Checking Loyalty Mechanics:
- It is advisable to check the entire flow of a user gaining and utilizing their points.
- A review of the user experience for Gamification is required.
Note about links
If your website collects cookies, then it is important for the web-link to be selected to be opened in the Browser as opposed to within the app.

Phone screenshots: 2-8 phone screenshots. Screenshots must be PNG or JPEG, up to 8 MB each, 16:9 or 9:16 aspect ratio, with each side between 320 and 3840 px (we typically use 1242 x 2208 px)
Apple App Store:
Phone screenshots: 3-10 phone screenshots. At least 2 sets of images are required:
5.5 in (1242 x 2208 px)
6.5 in (1242 x 2688 px) - Other items that are required for app release:
- Promotional Text(iOS): Promotional text lets you inform your App Store visitors of any current app features without requiring an updated submission. This text will appear above your description on the App Store for customers with devices running iOS 11 or later, and macOS 10.13 or later.
- Short Description (Android): A short description for your app. Users can expand to view your full description. (80 Characters)
- Description: A description of your app, detailing features and functionality.
- Keyword: Include one or more keywords that describe your app. Keywords make App Store search results more accurate. Separate keywords with an English comma, Chinese comma, or a mix of both.
